Being in the center of both “forks”, Kyle’s has access to an array of local products, supporting our neighborhood producers and lessening our overall footprint. Located in the center of Shelter Island, Ky’s peaceful atmosphere is only matched by the eclectic menu selection. Having ventured extensively throughout Asia and Europe, her menu showcases the cuisine of a well traveled road.

Kyle is an alumni of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, completing her externship at the Pacific Islands Club in Guam, and later becoming the private chef to Aretha Franklin, Roger Waters and Barbara Goldsmith.  Author of “The Spa at Doral Cookbook”, Kyle’s has been accredited in “American Health Magazine”, “Bon Appetite”, “Southern Living”, and “The London Times”.  Recently distinguished in “Edible East End” and “Newsboy’s Top Ten Bites”, critics all agree that her “main courses reflect years of traveling the world and collecting cook books”.

In truth, it’s not the recipes that bring Kyle’s food to life, but, the love and commitment she holds to the quality of each meal.  It comes down to here passion, for creating, for cooking and for living.  As Kyle would say, “Food is my life”.
